I can't believe we're finally opening this Tuesday (30th April). After a few setbacks, we're ready to start meeting our lovely customers and opening our new business ‘Little Red Sandwich Stop’.

We will mainly be a sandwich takeaway. Making cobs, baguettes, and sandwiches daily, ready to take away. There will also be delicious cakes, pastries, hot soup and jacket potatoes.
​
We want to make 'Little Red' as welcoming as possible and we have a cosy seating area where you can enjoy food, or drinks bought in-house.
Dog friendly!
From terriers to wolfhounds...we love them all! Bring them in for pats, biscuits and fuss. Just please bear in mind other customers may not be comfortable with dogs, so keep your fur-child on a lead and only bring them in if they are unresponsive to other dogs in small spaces xxx
We would like to learn more about Wirksworth and the people that make it such a thriving community. We know it’s a big ask but, if you have a moment, we would really appreciate any ideas about how ‘Little Red’ can contribute to this lovely town. Our Ethos
We want to create an efficient and friendly sandwich shop where you can grab a sandwich on the go, or stay and enjoy it in our eating area. All our food is made fresh and in-house with local ingredients wherever possible!
We put the health and wellbeing of all our team first and always will: you can’t make happy food with sad and hungry staff! As a family business our opening hours and serving times are all proudly designed with the health and work/life balance of the team in mind.​

Nobody works 'for' us at Little Red we all muck in together and share jobs equally.
​
Food waste is a major problem in the UK and we aim to keep our waste to an absolute minimum.
